Ever see the movie 'Jennifer's Body'? Yeah, me either, actually. But I am loving Megan Fox's pink and black manicure! I know, I know, it was several years ago and I am a tad bit late on this one, but I just stumbled upon one of the promo pictures from the movie, noticed her nails and was simply like "OMG, I need nails like this!" so clearly I had to recreate. As my signature nail style is normally always using my ring finger as my accent finger, I thought it a little different at first using the middle finger, but now I must admit, I am really digging this look!

Incase you where wondering, here's how I did my own version of this style:
Step 1 - First, decide if you want to use fake nails or your natural ones. I used my favorite Nailene So Natural nails in "Short", then trimmed and filed to my perfect length. If you don't want to use press-on's, simply just file and shape your natural nails. (Sorry about the lack of picture for this step, by the way.)Step 2 - Paint your nails (excluding your middle finger on both hands) to a deep pink color. I opted for "Caribbean Temptation" by China Glaze. I like this color a lot; its a really nice deep pink color with barely noticeable purple-y undertones that can sometimes be seen in the perfect lighting and simply look glam. You will probably need two coats, but be sure to allow nails to fully dry between coats. If you don't want to wait as long, you could always hit them with Nail Dryer like Onyx Professional 3.2.1 Dry! (You can pick this up at walmart.) This dries your nails almost instantly.Step 3 - Once your done with the pink, reach for your favorite black polish and paint those middle fingers! I went with Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in "Black Out". I am like seriously obsessed with this polish -- I've already gone though two bottles, and am nearing a third. As someone who is a long time fan of black polish, I must say that this is one of my all-time favorites. You normally will only need a single coat for it to have that deep, shiny, rich black that we all want from a black nail polish.Step 4 - Once the polish is completely dry, swipe on a clear top-coat to help your new manicure last a little while longer without chipping. I opted for Nailene Acrylic Strong Protecting Topcoat. And that's about it, your done!
Enjoy, and rock on ladies! :)
